Hank Jennings returns to Twin Peaks after serving a sentence for vehicular manslaughter, a charge which somehow quelled suspicion of another murder. (TP) Burke Devlin returns to Collinsport after serving a sentence for a vehicular manslaughter which he did not commit. (DS) Elliot Carson returns to Peyton Place after serving a sentence for a murder he did not commit. (PP) Devlin and Carson return to clear their names by identifying the guilty party. Jennings returns to blackmail the person who hired him to kill her husband. All three ex-convicts were framed or acting on behalf of wealthy people related to each town's major industrial employer.
