Stoddard's daughter Carolyn and Carson's daughter Allison are blondes that look similar, and both girls look like Laura Palmer. Ray Wise who portrayed Laura's father Leland has stated in interviews that Mark Frost and David Lynch planned to bring him back as another character had Twin Peaks been picked up for a third season.
